PolrestaGorontaloKota,Setelah berstatus tahanan sementara oleh Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polresta Gorontalo Kota, seorang pelaku penyalah gunaan narkotika yang diduga dikendalikan dari dalam Lembaga Pemasyarakatan (Lapas) Kota Gorontalo, resmi ditetapkan sebagai tersangka.
Kapolresta Gorontalo Kota, Kombespol Ade Permana menjelaskan, pengungkapakan kasus ini berawal dari tertangkapnya AG yang diduga tengah membawa sabu-sabu.
AG diringkus Polisi tepat di Jalan Yusuf Hasiru, Kelurahan Bulotadaa Timur, Kecamatan Sipatana, Kota Gorontalo, usai diduga menjemput sabu-sabu.
“Pengembangan kasus ini mengarah ke AG. Team menemukannya di Jalan Yusuf Hasiru, dan langsung melakukan penggeledahan. Dimana, dari hasil penggeledahan, ditemukan dua sachet narkotika jenis sabu-sabu,” kata Kombespol Ade Permana.
Dijelaskan Kombespol Ade, dari keterangan AG usai diamankan petugas, dua sachet sabu-sabu tersebut, didapatkannya dari salah satu warga binaan Lapas Kota Gorontalo berinisial AD.
“Dari hasil pengembangan, barang bukti ini didapat pelaku dari seorang warga binaan Lapas Kota Gorontalo berinisial AD,” ujar Kombespol Ade
“Dari keterangan AD juga, untuk proses transaksi, dijalankan oleh NS, yang tidak lain adalah istri dari AD,” tambahnya.
Kini, setelah menetapkan AG sebagai tersangka, polisi masih melakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut terkait keterlibatan warga binaan Lapas Kota Gorontalo.
“Untuk AG sudah ditetapkan sebagai tersangka. Kami masih akan melakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut, terkait keterlibatan warga binaan Lapas Kota Gorontalo ini,” pungkas Kombespol Ade Permana.
Sementara itu, dalam kasus ini, AG dijerat dengan undang-undang narkotika, dengan ancaman hukuman 12 tahun penjara.
