Menindak lanjuti laporan tersebut satuan reskrim yang dipimpin kanit pidum Ipda Panji Winata Erwin,S.Trk langsung mendatangi TKP dan menemukan empat pasang bukan suami istri dan dua remaja pengguna Aplikasi Michat.

Kapolresta Gorontalo Kota Kombespol Dr.Ade Permana,S.I.K.,M.H melalui Kasat Reskrim Kompol Leonardo Widharta,S.I.K., menjelaskan bahwa ini merupakan salah satu upaya preventif dimana akhir akhir ini maraknya kasus anak hilang di Kota Gorontalo

Dijelaskan Kompol Leonardo empat pasang bukan muhrim yang diamankan adalah Pr.SK (23) dan Lk.ARH (23).,Pr.IT (19) dan Lk. SH (23).,Pr.AA (17) dan Lk.WH (20).,serta Pr.HG (25) dan Lk.BL (29) sementara untuk remaja yang menggunakan aplikasi online michat adalah Pr.ES (19) dan YK (19)
