PolrestaGorontaloKota,Team Rajawali Satreskrim Polresta Gorontalo Kota, meringkus seorang remaja asal Sulawesi Utara berinisial ML (22), warga Kelurahan Milango Barat, Kecamatan Tomini, Kabupaten Bolaang Mongondow Selatan, Rabu, (14/06) kemarin.

ML ditangkap pihak berwajib terkait kasus pencurian kendaraan bermotor, yang terjadi di Jalan Siswa, Kelurahan Limba U2, Kecamatan kota Selatan, Kota Gorontalo, sekitar bulan Oktober tahun 2022 silam.

Kapolresta Gorontalo Kota Kombespol Dr. Ade Permana,S.I.K.,M.H Melalui Kasat Reskrim Polresta Gorontalo Kota Kompol Leonardo Widharta, S. I. K menjelaskan, terungkapnya kasus ini berawal dari laporan korban, yang melihat adanya postingan Surat Tanda Nomor Kendaraan (STNK) dan Kartu Identitas, di jejaring sosial Facebook.

“Awalnya korban melihat ada postingan kehilangan STNK dan KTP di facebook yang persis dengan kendaraan milik korban.Karena merasa yakin, korban mengadukannya ke Pihak berwajib, dengan disertai alat bukti yang menunjukan bukti kepemilikan kendaraan,” tambah Kompol Leonardo

Dari laporan tersebut, Team Rajawali langsung melakukan pengembangan, guna mengejar pelaku pencurian. Hasilnya, petugas berhasil mengamankan pelaku di Jalan Palu, Kelurahan Liluwo, Kecamatan Kota Tengah Kota Gorontalo, tutur Kasat Reskrim

“Setelah kami selidiki, pelaku berada di Kelurahan Liluwo dengan mengendarai motor hasil curian tersebut. Kemudian kami amankan dan kami interogasi. Dimana, dari hasil interogasi, pelaku mengakui perbuatannya tersebut,” ujar Kompol Leonardo.

“Dari data yang ada, pelaku juga merupakan residivis kasus pencurian motor, yang belum lama keluar dari masa tahanan,” sambung Kompol Leonardo.

Sementara itu, selain mengamankan Pelaku, Polisi turut mengamankan satu unit sepeda motor hasil kejahatan, dan langsung dibawa ke Mapolresta Gorontalo Kota, guna proses hukum lebih lanjut.
