PolrestaGorontaloKota,Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polresta Gorontalo Kota, meringkus seorang pria berinisial YK (31) warga Kelurahan Siendeng, Kecamatan Hulonthalangi, Kota Gorontalo, usai tertangkap tangan tengah membawah sebuah paket mencurigakan yang diduga berisikan obat terlarang.
YK diringkus polisi tepat di Jalan Beringin, Kelurahan Tuladenggi, Kecamatan Dungingi, Kota Gorontalo, pada tanggal 24 Mei 2023 Kemarin, sekitar pukul 14:30 Wita.
Kapolresta Gorontalo Kota, Kombespol Ade Permana menjelaskan, penangkapan ini berawal dari informasi team satresnarkoba Polresta Gorontalo Kota, tentang transaksi mencurigakan bermodus jasa pengiriman paket.
“Setelah dilakukan pengembangan, paket tersebut mengarah ke pelaku berinisial YK. Team kemudian membuntuti YK usai menjemput paket tersebut. Dimana, tepat di Kelurahan Tuladenggi, pelaku berhasil dicegat,” kata Kombespol Ade permana.
“Setelah berhasil dicegat, team kemudian melakukan pemeriksaan, dan berhasil menemukan barang bukti berupa ratusan butir obat terlarang, dan empat buah kota obat,” tambah Kombespol Ade.
Dijelaskan Kombespol Ade Permana juga, saat ini YK telah diamankan di Mapolresta Gorontalo Kota, beserta barang bukti ratusan obat teralarang tersebut. Dirinya terbukti secara tanpa hak atau melawan hukum memiliki, menyimpan dan membawa obat jenis psikotrofika.
“Untuk pelaku sudah kami amankan dan sudah kami tetapkan sebagai tersangka. Pelaku juga kami jerat dengan pasal 62 Junto pasal 41 Undang-undang Nomor 5 tahun 1997 tentang psikotrofika, dengan ancaman hukuman minimal 5 tahun penjara,” pungkasnya.
