Kapolresta Gorontalo Kota Kombespol Dr.Ade Permana,S.I.K.,M.H melalui Kapolsek Dungingi Ipda Roy Pidu,SH menjelaskan bahwa setelah menerima laporan masyarakat,gabungan personil Polresta Gorontalo Kota dan Polsek Dungingi mendatangi TKP dan menemukan sesosok mayat laki laki JMU (34) warga kelurahan Huangobotu Kecamatan Dungingi sudah meninggal dunia
Ditambahkan Kapolsek,korban JMU (34) tersebut di temukan meninggal dunia dalam keadaan tergantung dengan seutas tali di dalam kamarnya.
“Kejadian tersebut terungkap saat saksi HNI hendak mengajak korban makan siang,namun saat membuka gorden saksi melihat korban sudah terganrung dengan seutas tali yang terikat di pintu kamar”,tutur Ipda Roy
Ditambahkan Ipda Roy bahwa latar belakang korban melakukan bunuh diri di duga karena masalah asmara dimana sebelumnya korban sering cekcok dengan pacarnya sehingga korban depepresi dan memilih mengahiri hidupnya dengan gantung diri
Jadi kami tidak melakukan visum maupun otopsi karena pihak keluarga menolaknya,tutup Ipda Roy
