Selain Bripka Rahmat juga melakukan pemantauan pasar senggol di Kota Gorontalo, petugas juga memberikan himbauan kepada warga maupun pedagang agar ekstra waspada terhadap oknum-oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab.
Blusukan kedalam pasar dilakukan seorang diri oleh Bripka Rahmat Bowta.
“Selain memantau perkembangan harga, sekaligus menghimbau warga agar selalu waspada dan berhati hati terhadap copet maupun jambret, Serta waspada peredaran uang palsu,” ucapnya.
Kapolres Gorontalo Kota AKBP Robin Lumban Raja, S. IK, M.Si mengatakan bahwa kegiatan blusukan pasar akan terus dilaksanakan di seluruh jajaran Babinkamtibmas hingga lebaran nanti. Hal itu dimaksudkan menjaga situasi agar tetap aman karena pasar akan ramai selama bulan puasa dan jelang Idul Fitri.
“Sengaja kami sasar pasar tradisional, karena kerawanan nya sangat tinggi apalagi saat situasi ramai, antisipasi jika di manfaatkan oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab,” jelas Kapolres.
Sementara itu, Yanto salah satu warga yang belanja di pasar mengungkapkan bahwa, dirinya lebih tenang, dengan adanya Polisi yang patroli ke pasar.
