ANTISIPASI BENCANA ALAM,POLRES DAN FORKOPIMDA KOTA GORONTALO GELAR APEL KESIAP SIAGAAN

Polres Gorontalo Kota,Kapolres Gorontalo Kota Akbp Desmont Harjendro A. P, SIK, MT menghadiri kegiatan Apel Gelar Kesiapsiagaan Antisipasi Bencana Alam Di Kota Gorontalo yang dilaksanalan di lapangan Taruna Remaja Rabu (11/11/2020) pagi.

Walikota Gorontalo Hi. Marten A. Taha SE M.Ec.Dev selaku pimpinan Apel kesiapsiagaan ini dalam sambutannya menjelaskan bahwa sebagaimana diketahui bersama pada saat ini tengah berada pada puncak musim penghujan yang dapat memungkinkan terjadi bencana alam baik banjir, tanah longsor, juga genangan dan berbagai bencana alam yang akan muncul di lingkungan kita. Bahkan BMKG pusat telah merilis prediksi di mana saat ini kita tengah memasuki dan bahkan sudah berada di dalam iklim anomali la Nina yang akan berkembang hingga awal tahun 2021

“Diperlukan Kewaspadaan kesiapsiagaan dalam mengantisipasi bencana alam tersebut dari kita semua selaku pengembangan fungsi Tanggap bencana untuk dapat mengantisipasi kejadian bencana yang timbul mencegah dan meminimalisasi timbulnya korban untuk itu guna menyatukan persepsi dan cara bertindak serta kesiapan sarana prasarana sistem cara metode yang kita perlukan yang akan digunakan dalam penanganan banjir maka diperlukan koordinasi antara satuan kerja pengembangan Tanggap bencana melalui apel ini”, Jelas Walikota Marten Taha dalam sambutannnya.

Sementara itu Kapolres Gorontalo Kota Akbp Desmont Harjendro A. P,SIK,M.T menyampaikan melalui kegiatan ini dapat membuat sinergitas lintas Instansi dan sektor dapat berjalan dengan baik di wilayah kota Gorontalo.

“Ada beberapa poin penting yang menjadi perhatian bagi kita semua melakukan Deteksi dini terhadap setiap perkembangan perubahan iklim dengan pihak BMKG setempat, Melakukan sosialisasi Tanggap bencana kepada masyarakat korban bencana dengan mengedepankan tiga pilar”, Tegas Akbp Desmont.

Selain itu juga lanjut Kapolres, menjaga kesehatan diri dengan senantiasa menerapkan protocol kesehatan selama dalam pelaksanaan tugas dan Melaksanakan tugas dengan tulus dan ikhlas serta jadikan tugas ini sebagai ladang ibadah.

“Mari sama sama kita Tingkatkan konsultasi di tiga pilar TNI Polri dan pemerintah sudah melakukan koordinasi serta komunikasikan dengan masyarakat agar bisa berpartisipasi dan mendukung petugas”, lanjut Kapolres.

Kegiatan Apel Kesiapsiagaan juga di lanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan kenderaan penanggulangan bencana serta penyerahan masker kepada personil.

Turut hadir dalam kegiatan tersebut Sekda Kota Gorontalo Dr. Ir. Ismail Madjid MTP, Dinas Terkait, Personil Kodim 1304 Gorontalo, Personil Polres Gorontalo Kota dan jajaran polsek Polres Gorontalo kota.
