Kapolresta Gorontalo Kota Kombespol Dr.Ade Permana, S. I. K.,M.H melalui Kasat Reskrim Kompol Leonardo Widharta,S.I.K mengatakan dua pelaku Masing masing Pr.RA (33) dan Lk.AWS (27) yang merupakan warga Kelurahan Moodu Kecamatan Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo di amankan di rumahnya masing masing.
“Penangkapan keduanya kita lakukan berawal dari informasi masyarakat, akan adanya tindak pidana perjudian di lingkungan mereka,dan rumah kedua pelaku berdekatan, Ujar Kompol Leonardo.
Ditambahkan Kompol Leonardo bahwa setelah menerima laporan masyarakat kemudian dilakukan penyelidikan dan mendatangi TKP dan berhasil mengamankan kedua orang tersebut.
Dijelaskan Kompol Leonardo Setelah dilakukan pemeriksaan ditemukan barang bukti dari tangan Pr. RA yakni satu buah HP realme dan uang sejumlah Rp.294.000 (dua ratus sembilan puluh empat ribu rupiah) sementara dari tangan Lk.AWS adalah satu buah HP realme serta uang tunai sejumlah Rp. 238.000
Dari pengakuan pelaku Pr.RA bahwa dirinya sudah 2 tahun sementara Lk.AWS kurang lebih 1 tahun melakukan aktivitas sebagai bandar melalu situs judi online, jelas Kompol Leonardo
Kedua pelaku bersama barang bukti sudah diamankan ke Polresta Gorontalo Kota untuk penyelidikan dan penyidikan,tutup Kompol Leonardo.
