Polres Gorontalo Kota,Kian membludaknya jumlah kendaraan Becak Motor (Bentor) di Kota Gorontalo, membut intensitas Lalu Lintas di Kota Gorontalo ikut meningkat.

Mengantisipasi terjadinya peningkatan angka kecelakaan, Unit Kemanan dan Keselamatan (Kamsel) Satlantas Polresta Gorontalo Kota menyambangi para pengemudi Bentor sekaligus melakukan sosialisasi,Sabtu (12/11)

Kepala Satuan Lalu Lintas Polresta Gorontalo Kota, Iptu Belly Rizaldy Nata Indra,S.Tr.K menjelaskan sosialisasi ini sekaligus menjadikan sarana kerjasama antara Polisi Lalu Lintas dan Pengemudi Bentor dalam menekan angka kecelakaan.

“Ini semacam Kolaborasi antara Polisi Lalu Lintas dengan abang bentor untuk mensosialisasikan Pentingnya berlalu lintas yang benar saat berada di jalan raya,” kata Iptu Belly

“Kebetulan Abang bentor di Kota Gorontalo ini kan banyak. Bahkan hampir setiap hari mengalami peningkatan. Jadi, ini merupakan momen yang pas untuk mensosialisasikan aturan berlalu lintas di jalan raya,” ujar Iptu Belly.

Iptu Belly berharap sosialisasi ini dapat terpatri dihati masyarkat Kota Gorontalo agar kedepannya Kota Gorontalo menjadi contoh perubahan penekanan angka kecelakaan,” pungkasnya.
