Kapolres Gorontalo Kota Akbp Suka Irawanto, SIK,M.Si melalui Kasat Reskrim Iptu Nauval Seno,STK,SIK membenarkan jika adanya laporan masyarakat tentang gantung diri Di kelurahan Heledulaa Kecamatan Kota Timur Kota Gorontalo.
Setelah menerima laporan masyarakat,piket polres Gorontalo Kota langsung menuju lokasi dan menemukan korban MD (68) sudah meninggal dunia,selanjutnya personil polres melakukan olah Tkp serta mengambil keterangan di lapangan.
Lebih lanjut Iptu Nauval mengatakan bahwa menurut keterangan saksi bahwa korban depresi karena rindu suasana lebaran bersama istrinya yang sudah meninggal di bulan Desember 2021,sehingga Korban mengakhiri hidupnya.
“Korban awalnya ditemukan oleh SD yang merupakan anak ke tiga MD, dimana saat itu akan membangunkan MD untuk sholat idul fitri,namun SD terkejut melihat MD sudah tergantung dengan tali yang diikat di ventilasi kamar,”ujar Iptu Nauval.
