Polres Gorontalo Kota,Patroli Kryd Polres Gorontalo Kota yang dipimpin oleh Iptu Hasan Mustapa menindak lanjuti laporan masyarakat terkait aktivitas balap liar yang Meresahkan di  Jalan Nani wartabone ( bundaran HI ).Dalam penindakan itu, polisi mengamankan 3 remaja beserta dua unit sepeda motor  dilokasi balap liar,Kamis (10/02) dini hari

Kapolres Gorontalo Kota Akbp Suka Irawanto,SIK,M,Si melalui Kabag Ops Kompol Ryan D. Hutagalung,SH,SIK menuturkan, personil polres Gorontalo Kota mengamankan 3 remaja dan dua unit sepeda motor tersebut berdasarkan informasi dari masyarakat ada balapan liar yang kerap kali sangat meresahkan.

“setelah menerima laporan personil Polres Gorontalo Kota langsung menuju lokasi dan melakukan penghadangan serta mengamankan beberapa orang yang ada dilokasi balap liar tersebut,Ujarnya

Lebih lanjut Kompol Ryan mengatakan terkait dengan balap liar. Personil Polres kota dan jajaran akan terus melakukan patroli.Langkah ini diambil guna menciptakan suasana yang aman dan kondusif. “Kalau ada balap liar yang dianggap meresahkan masyarakat segara laporkan. Kami tidak segan-segan melakukan tindakan tegas,” imbuhnya.

Semua barang bukti yang diamankan di lokasi balap liar diamankan ke Polres Gorontalo Kota. Sedangkan terhadap para pelaku balap liar sudah dimintai keterangan. “Kami menghimbau kepada orang tua agar memperhatikan putranya. Bahwa tindakan balap liar tidak ada untungnya sebaliknya malah meresahkan masyarakat,” pungkas Kompol Ryan
